Hurt by a Friend

Proverbs 27:6

Wounds from a friend can be trusted,

but an enemy multiplies kisses.

Note, faithful and valuable are the wounds that come from the correction of a friend; they come from a truly loving and faithful desire for your best to really promote the good of the person corrected. The kisses of an enemy are deceitful, an enemy will not tell you when you're wrong they will defend you knowing you're wrong. Affirmation and encouragement in your wrong choices and speech plentifully showered on you but, all meaningless.
