Proverbs 11:5

The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight,

but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.

Note: Verse 5. - The blameless; the upright, honest, or Vulgate “Simple”. Make their paths straight or smooth. The good man, not blinded by passion, follows a safe and direct path of life; but the wicked, led by his own evil behavior, losing the light of conscience (John 11:10), stumbles and fails.
